Just reloaded Morrowind (after 3+ years). Saw all of those mods and HAD to
play it again. I've forgotten how to manipulate objects. Can anyone remind
me? I was wondering if I could move bodies from one location to another?
Like in Oblivion, where you can just drag them about. When I kill some
bandit, I'd like to drag them aside. Don't care for walking on corpses too
much.

Sorry, object manipulation isn't possible in that sense in Morrowind.
You can't move anything you can't pick up (doors excepted, I suppose).
However you can get rid of bodies with the "Dispose of Corpse" button
while looting them.

Yep, pretty much so.

I do however remember seeing a mod out there that lets you move and
rotate books around for placement on shelves and such.

fwiw, you can always use console commands to customize a place you'd like to
call home or whatever. Less hassle than using too many "place to stay"
mod's imho.

For example, lets say you want to straighten up Fargoth's messy house for
your own place.

In the console window simply type:
---
coc "seyda neen, fargoth's house" (gets you there of course)
"furn_com_p_table_01"-> position -44 152 -91 0 "Seyda Neen, Fargoth's House"
(moves & centers table to the far wall)
