Changing the fonts in Morrowind -- possible?

Greets all. I can add new fonts to the Morrowind directory and change
the names in the .ini, but the fonts aren't compatible and produce an
error message. Is there a utility to convert Windows fonts to
something Morrowind can use?

Yes it is, but there's a big catch. Morrowind can only use three fonts
at any given time. If you still want to do it, you could try this
program, Font Generator:

It's meant for Oblivion, but I think it may work with Morrowind too. If
it doesn't, I wrote an earlier program called Font Reader, which
definitely works with Morrowind, but requires quite a bit of manual
adjustment to make a working font.

Hey, I have a different font question (for Morrowind) while we're
on the subject - how can I make the conversation font bigger?

I recently started playing at 1680 x 1050 (16:10 widescreen) and
the world looks *awesome*, but the text is much smaller. ;)

Hmm, I don't think that's going to be easy, unfortunatly. You could edit
the font (whcih take a certain amount of work) but that would make the
text bigger everywhere, and in some places, like menus, that could have
bad results (letters getting cut off and such.)

Oh well, not a deal breaker. ;) You'd think they would've
included such an option, seeing the amount of text to read.
